All Twisted Metal Games, Ranked – Worst to Best
After the announcement of the Twisted Metal TV series, this is one of the most famous but not so-popular games in the gaming industry.
Last month in our news, PlayStation announces the Twisted Metal TV series in 2023 on Peacock. Asad Qizilbash the studio leader of PlayStation Productions, has published a teaser trailer for the Twisted Metal TV series. Also, fans of the first Twisted Metal games will be familiar with the writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland) as a nearly ideal fit for the dark humor tone of the franchise.
When is the release date of the Twisted Metal TV series?
Asad Qizilbash posted a message on his personal Twitter on January 30, 2023, that sparked discussion. The tweet discusses PlayStation Productions’ upcoming endeavors as well as recent successes. Both The Last of Us and Gran Turismo – whose May 2022 TV show premiere date was confirmed – were addressed in the post.
Yet the most entertaining aspect wasn’t in the video clip Qizilbash offered. Yet in his post, which featured a clown and a fire emoji, a reference to Sweet Tooth, a well-known character from Twisted Metal, was probably intended.
Asad Qizilbash also tweeted about the upcoming TV series: “PlayStation Productions this year in one elevator ride. You can’t see me, but my head is on fire too.”
What are the Twisted Metal games about?
In the game Twisted Metal, which features vehicular warfare, the player controls one of twelve different cars. When operating a car, the player can use the d-pad and buttons on the game controller to accelerate, steer, brake, reverse, engage the turbo, turn tightly, switch between, and activate weaponry. Either the single-player or duel modes of the game are available. The player must go through six combat areas with progressively larger and more adversaries in the single-player mode. The player must obliterate every enemy vehicle in a level in order to complete it. The game continues until either all six levels have been completed or until all of the player’s life has run out.
