Corey Taylor Reveals To Do List of Slipknot in 2022

The new year has come bearing gifts it turns out. Corey Taylor has recently revealed his busy agenda for 2022 along with heralding the new album of Slipknot band.
While Slipknot has been still impressing everyone with their music and masks, the iconic band’s singer Corey Taylor has also been pretty occupied with several music projects including releasing a solo album and working on a movie called “Zombie Versus Ninja” as he revealed them just recently through a tweet.
Corey Taylor started writing “Big Shit Coming, 2022 edition,” before listing his 2022 to-do list and continued, “ZvN updates, SK album, secret ‘homecoming’ plans, etc. Stay Tuned!” The talented vocalist finished his tweet by adding Franklin D. Roosevelt-attributed quote “Hold On To Your Butts.”

“The goal is to get it ready for mix in January so we can get it out two or three months after,” Corey Taylor also said earlier about their upcoming album’s planning.

Corey Taylor also explained the reason for the song as it documents what happens when the distortions of mass media circulate within the echo chambers of social media.
“It’s classic Slipknot,” started explaining Corey Taylor the track. “And it’s frenetic. But lyrically, it’s coming from a point of talking about the various manipulations that can happen when social media meets media itself. And the different ways that these manipulations can try to pull us in different directions, in the fact that we’re all becoming addicts to it, which is very, very dangerous.”
On the other side, the talented singer of Slipknot already announced last year in February that he had completed work on five film scripts after his discussion of diving into the film world. And one of them, Zombie vs. Ninja is notable appears to be his main focus in 2022, considering him mentioning it in his recent tweet, as well. During one of his earlier interviews, Corey Taylor also described the movie as a “gonzo horror-comedy,” continuing “It’s the kind of fucking movie that I’ve always loved, and it’s the kind of movie that I’ve always wanted to make.”
Ultimately, if we come to the “secret homecoming” part of Corey Taylor’s tweet, it seems that he might be onto something about Iowa this year 2022. But this is just a speculation of course, while there is not much we can guess about it, at least for now. So, stay tuned as soon as we find out what that means along with more and share with you what’s ahead for Slipknot and its regarded vocalist, Corey Taylor.
