Foo Fighters Will Be Leading Beale Street Music Festival Alongside Many Other Bands
While Foo Fighters has been preparing for its upcoming 2022 tour in North America, it is also announced the regarded rock band will also be leading the annual Beale Street Music Festival this year in May, along with other famous bands.
A three-day music festival, The Beale Street Music Festival has both a mix of big-name stars and local musical acts, hosting over 100,000 people during the weekend. As it is also considered to be the kick-off event of the entire Memphis in May International Festival celebration, The Beale Street Music Festival is the only program that has been held every year since the inception of Memphis in May 1977.
And this year, it looks like the organizers of the annual Beale Street Music Festival have been preparing again for another artsy lineup that includes big and famous names, such as Lil’ Wayne, Three 6 Mafia, Da Baby, Moneybagg Yo, Sarkodie, Trigger Hippy, Sue Foley, and Kenny Brown alongside Dirty Honey, Lindsey Buckingham, Glorious Sons, Modest Mouse, Toad the West Sprocket and Soccer Mommy.
On the other side, the official lineup reveal is being split up this year, as its first batch was just announced with Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, and more taking part. And the upcoming 2022 edition of the festival will be kicking off on April 29-May 1 at the Fairgrounds in Memphis, as the rest of the performance lineup is scheduled to be announced in early February, as well.
