Early Life of Joey Jordison
Joey Jordison got his first drum set when he was 8 years old. He spent his childhood in Des Moines, Iowa, together with his parents and two sisters. Early in his career, he shared the stage with various bands. In 1995, he then joined the band the Pale Ones, which would eventually change its name to Slipknot.

Joey Jordison reported having acute transverse myelitis in her speech. While on tour with Murderdolls in 2010, symptoms appeared. But it took a while for the condition to be identified. His left leg eventually stopped working because of this. He had momentarily lost the use of his legs because of a neurological condition, which also prevented him from playing the drums until recovery. With the help of medical care and physical therapy from his trainer Caleb, he made a full recovery.
According to his family the next day, Joey Jordison passed away during his sleep on July 26, 2021, at 46 years old.
As we know he was suffering from transverse myelitis, a neurological disorder.
