Marilyn Manson Turned Himself In For New Hampshire Incident
Marilyn Manson is one of the most controversial names in the music industry. He is facing plenty of legal cases for different reasons. We’ve shared some of those cases here, at Metal Shout. Today, something happened about one of those cases. A couple of months ago we’ve learned that he had some problems with the New Hampshire police. The Police Department was looking for Manson and wanting him in for an incident that happened in Manson’s 2019 New Hampshire concert. You can read the whole story in this article but long story short, he spit on the camera lens during the show and his salvia also splashed on the cameraman. Police said that this is an “unprivileged physical contact” case and Manson got an arrest warrant for that case.
Until today, Manson was silent about that case. His representatives even said that those claims are “ludicrous”. But after almost 2 months later than the first news about this case, something happened. Marilyn Manson or Brian Warner with his real name turned himself in. He went to the Los Angeles Police Department, turned himself in, and even went through the official booking process of the department before being released on personal recognizance bail. As we’ve known right now, he has agreed to not commuting any crimes on his release, have no contact with the alleged victim of the case, and appear at all of his court hearings.
We don’t know the court’s decision and won’t know until the end but if they find Manson guilty, he could face a jail sentence of up to 1 year and a $2000 fine.
Comments from concert attendees:
People Exclusive reached out to some of the concert attendees and a security guard to hear their opinions about the situation. Here are some of those comments:
“He was spitting everywhere and one time it got on her camera so she wiped it off and looked semi-irritated. He noticed this and kept purposely spitting on her camera. I think her final straw is he got on the floor, got within 2-3 feet of her and hacked a giant snot rocket at her not the camera. She was pissed off and disgusted so she stormed off and he just laughed. “I stopped listening to his music after that and told my husband I would never go to another one of his concerts again.”
“I was right there when it happened, she was beyond furious when he did that to her,” a third man, who works as a security guard at the venue, said. “He spit on her a couple of times and then leaned real close to the camera and blew a huge snot rocket on her. After he did that, she almost threw her camera right down on the ground.”
