Metallica Made A Special Edition Whiskey For Black Album’s 30th Year
It has been 30 years since Metallica released their self-titled album, widely known as “Black Album”. They released it in 1991 and ever since it is one of the most successful albums in Metal history. Besides their musical work, they are also in the whiskey production business. Metallica first introduced its whiskey brand in 2018. And to create their own flavor they were using a sonic enhancement process. Now, to celebrate Black Album’s 30th anniversary they released a new special edition of their whiskey.
To explain this sonic enhancement process, we can easily say that they made their whiskey to listen to some music. And now for the celebrations, they made their whiskey to listen to their masterpiece, “Black Album”. For anyone who doesn’t know, Black Album contains 12 songs and some of them are very popular. These songs include Enter Sandman, Sad But True, and Nothing Else Matters. Now, you can drink these songs.

On their official website, Metallica announced that special edition as below:
“It seems our friends at Blackened American Whiskey have been spinning The Black Album a lot lately – it’s the focus of their latest special release! Available now, you can enjoy a bottle of Blackened’s Batch 114, sonically-enhanced by the album itself, as part of a limited-edition collector’s pack.
For this special edition, Blackened American Whiskey listened to all 12 songs in the Black Album. With the frequency they used, they make whiskey go deeper into the barrel to extract more flavors such as caramel honey and vanilla.
This pack comes with the special edition whiskey in a 750ml bottle. This bottle contains that special flavored whisky with notes of oak, burnt caramel, cinnamon, honey, and even more notes. A bottle of whiskey isn’t the only special edition content. That box also comes with some extras.
The pack also includes a collectible whiskey coin and the Snakebyte Cocktail Booklet, a recipe book featuring riffs off the classic whiskey Snake Bite drink from some of today’s rock star bartenders from across the country, and named after James Hetfield’s Signature ESP Snakebyte Guitar.
