Metallica Now Invests One Of The Leading Media Brands
While Metallica is still continuing to meet its fans on stages for over 40th years, it also announced it has become an investor to one of the leading media brands, just recently.
As Metallica is still on tour celebrating its 40th year anniversary, it also announced its new decision to become an investor of one of the biggest media brands, TrillerNet, which is a parent company to Triller, VERZUZ, Triad Combat, Triller Fight Club, FITE, and other leading media brands.
The chief executive officer of TrillerNet, Mahi de Silva also made a statement for their new investors:
“Metallica, like Triller, shares the same passion for disrupting the status quo. We are ecstatic to have them as a partner, investor, and now a shareholder. Metallica has always rocked, and we see this signal as a true recognition of the power of the Triller effect.”
The announcement was made right after Metallica’s debut event at Triller’s Triad Combat on November 27 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. While the event has been lauded for its packed stadium as a triangular ring with fights inside featuring Derek Campos, Frank Mir, Matt Mitrione, Mike Perry, and Kubrat Pulev. The enchanting show was produced by the award-winning Nigel Lythgoe.
On the other hand, Triller has become one of the biggest media brands as it has been producing world-class content along with growing its millions of users around the world. Such as combining in-venue, pay-per-view, advertising monetization, and more, Triller has been providing its partner brands innovative solutions to rely on with great success. The co-manager of Metallica, Cliff Burnstein also spoke for the regarded band’s decision, stating the regarded band’s decision for being an investor of Triller.
