Metallica just shared an animated music video for the ‘Master of Puppets‘ song after releasing the song 36 years after. The band has released the new video for lyrics for ‘Master of Puppets’ which features crosses, flying guitars, and more.
The track is from the band’s third album which was released in 1986 ‘Master of Puppets’. The agency previously collaborated alongside Ozzy Osbourne on the artwork for his forthcoming studio album, created the animated video “Patient Number 9”, along together with Foo Fighters in their promotional activities to promote the ‘Studio 666’ film. This animation produced by ILoveDust agency which created the design for Ozzy Osbourne‘s upcoming album Patient Number 9 and also assisted with the promotion on behalf of Foo Fighters’ horror movie Studio 666.
“Master of Puppets” song released on the 24th of February, 1986. It is the album that Metallica recorded with Elektra Records.
Metallica band also shared a statement about the ‘Master of Puppets’ music video:
“The way The Duffer Brothers have incorporated music into ‘Stranger Things’ has always been next level, so we were beyond psyched for them to not only include ‘Master Of Puppets’ in the show but to have such a pivotal scene built around it. We were all stoked to see the result and when we did, we were totally blown away… It’s so extremely well done, so much so, that some folks could guess the song just by seeing a few seconds of Joseph Quinn’s hands in the trailer!! How crazy cool is that?
“It’s an incredible honor to be such a big part of Eddie’s journey and to once again be keeping company with all the other amazing artists featured in the show.”
In the season 4 final episode of season four of “Stranger Things” The Eddie Munson character performs what the character describes as “the most metal-themed concert of all time” and even the shredding “Master of Puppets” using his previously loved Warlock guitar in the “Stranger Things” series “Upside Down” alternate universe as part of the quest to aid his friends in defeating their battle against the Big Bad of the season and a demon called Vecna.
Metallica band’s bassist Rob Trujillo also revealed that his son Tye Trujillo, along with bandmate Kirk Hammett, contributed to the version of Master Of Puppets that appears in the Stranger Things series.
After that, he wrote this on Instagram: “That’s my boy, proud of ya Tye. Stranger Things finale shredding it on ‘Master of Puppets’ and big thanks to Kirk Hammett on helping.”
