Ozzy Osbourne Celebrates 39th Wedding Anniversary with Sharon Osbourne
Ozzy Osbourne is an iconic name in the music industry. He is a lot of things such as a television persona, a songwriter a singer. But he is widely known for his appearance at English heavy metal band Black Sabbath. He was with the Black Sabbath from 1968 to 1979 and during his career at Black Sabbath he was using the name “Prince of Darkness”. After parting ways with Black Sabbath, Osbourne didn’t stop making music. He pursued his solo career, played countless times on stage.
But today, we are not going to focus on his musical career. We are going to talk about his personal life. Osbourne first married Thelma Riley in 1971. But those two were not the perfect couple, as we can see from their past statements. After a failed marriage, Osbourne married Sharon Rachel Levy in 1982, the same year he divorced his ex-wife. And today, this year Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are celebrating their 39th wedding anniversary. Osbourne couple posted photos from their Instagram accounts to share the joy of their 39th anniversary with their followers. Sharon Osbourne posted 2 pictures of them from their wedding day and wrote this:
Thank you for 39 years. For the most incredible life together. The crazy, wonderful and insane times. Yes, pain and sorrow too, but we got through it. We worked so hard for years professionally and personally. We succeedtogether. You are mysoul, my life. What afantastic life we have lived so far, the best thing is there’s more to come . Every day is an adventure, every day I love you more and respect you more. My soulmate, my love and my friend here’s to our next adventure! Love you always ~ Sharon
Ozzy Osbourne on the other hand shared another photo from that same day and wrote “Happy Anniversary My Love! – July 4, 1982”
The two also renewed their wedding vows a couple of years ago, in 2017. That is a year after the two separated due to Ozzy Osbourne having an affair with a celebrity hairstylist. Then it turned out that Ozzy was seeing several women including her, he then apologized to his wife and said that “he would go to any lengths necessary to repair the damage”. They’ve taken marriage counseling and according to reports Ozzy also went to rehab for his sex addiction.
Sharon said those words about that dark time for their marriage:
“We’ve survived everything: drink, drugs and now it’s women… When you’re fucking a load of women, one of them is going to want more. That’s the one that’s going to get you.”
