11 rare TOOL Song In Concerts and Festivals to Watch
TOOL band has used the same setlist for nearly 20 years. That’s why fans who attended TOOL concerts were bored with the setlist problem.
Also, fans always wanted to change this setlist from the band. However, TOOL does not care about anyone’s opinions. That’s why they always ignored fans’ requests. However, we have hope right now. Because recently Tool band played their Undertow song after 20 years. We assume that they add new tracks to their setlist. That’s why we listed 11 rarely played songs. Tool fans wanted to see them on the Tool band’s setlist.
7empest
Tool band released 7empest in 2018 as part of Tool’s Fear Inoculum album. The band just played this track seven times(ironically.) When they played the song in concert in 2020 for the last time, fans freaked out.
10,000 Days
Tool band was released their 10,000 days album in 2006. The most liked track from the album is 10,000 days. The song contains shifts from near silence to a monolithic, galloping anthem.
Tool fans loved these features in the track. However, the Tool band has not included this track in their setlist since 2006. If they include this track in their setlist, they will impress their fans.
Hush
We are happy to hear long tracks from the Tool band at concerts. However, we get bored hearing the same song repeatedly. That’s why the Tool band should include short tracks like Hush. Hush is from the Tool band’s debut Opiate EP. The song is astonishing. That’s why we wanted to see this track in the Tool band’s live performances. However, they did not include this song in their setlist since 1998.
Ticks and Leeches
The Tool band released their Lateralus album in 2001. While they are on tour, they include Latalus album tracks into their setlist. That’s why Tool’s fans always wondered why Tool did not include Ticks and Leeches into their setlist. The tool did not play this song since 2012. We hope they will change their decision and play it this year.
Jimmy
The Tool band did not play Jimmy since 2002. While the Tool band was performing this track in Vienna, they could not use their visual show because of a lack of technical requirements. We think that the song completely fits with the band’s new visual shows on stage.
Bottom
I can understand why the Tool band has not included this song in their setlist since 1998. When they made this track, they worked with the Black Flag frontman. He became an integral part of this song. That’s why nobody imagines this track without him. To perform this song live, the Tool band needed to invite him to the stage. Maybe the Tool band thought he did not accept this invite. However, we are sure that he will welcome this offer.
Cold and Ugly
Today’s Tool fans like the fastest tracks. However, the Tool band insists on adding the fastest tracks into their setlists like Cold and Ugly. Tool band has not aired Cold and Ugly since 2002 like “Jimmy.” However, if they wanted to inspire new Tool fans, they needed to add this track to their setlist.
Crawl Away
The Tool band has not played Crawl Away since 1998. That’s why fans might forget this song’s existence. However, this song is amazing. The spindly riff that opens the song would cause delirium for fans who love heavy tracks.
H.
Tool band played live this track in 2002. Every fan who attended the Nort America tour says that listening to H. live was amazing. Tool announced they did not play this song live after the North America tour. Unfortunately, new Tool fans never heard it live again. However, the Tool band always loves to surprise their fans. That’s why they can play it at their concerts as a surprise.
Rosetta Stoned
Rosetta Stoned is a very long track. Tool band thought that fans became bored while they were listening to the song. Tool band refuses to add this track to their setlist because of this situation. However, If they give chance to fans, fans will amaze them without a doubt.
Wings
The Wings is a long track like Rosetta Stoned. When the Tool band played this song at the live concert, playing wings took 20 minutes. That’s why fans started talking and yelling while the Tool band was performing. That’s why the Tool band decided to not use this song again. They thought fans did not get it. However, I assume the Tool band might give another chance to Tool fans.
