Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2023 nominees artists and music bands announced
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a known institution that recognizes the most influential and innovative musicians in the history of rock and roll. This year, the 2023 induction ceremony will see three legendary bands competing for the honor of being inducted into the Hall of Fame: Iron Maiden, Rage Against the Machine, and Soundgarden.
For the nominees for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame’s Class Of 2023 contain Iron Maiden, Rage Against the Machine, and more. Soundgarden, Missy Elliott, the White Stripes, Cyndi Lauper, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, and Warren Zevon. Also, Joy Division/New Order received the majority of the nominations. Kate Bush has been nominated three times without receiving a vote.
Clive Burr, Paul Di’Anno, Bruce Dickinson, Janick Gers, Steve Harris, Nicko McBrain, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, and Dennis Stratton of Iron Maiden are among those who could be honored. Iron Maiden was previously nominated for a Grammy in 2021.
Tim Commerford, Zack de la Rocha, Tom Morello, and Brad Wilk are the members of Rage Against The Machine. Rage Against The Machine was nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022. So, here’s hoping this is the year.
Matt Cameron, Chris Cornell, Ben Shepherd, Kim Thayil, and Hiro Yamamoto of Soundgarden could be inducted. Soundgarden has previously been nominated only once, in 2020.
Last year in Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Eminem, Dolly Parton, Duran Duran, Eurythmics, Pat Benatar, Lionel Richie, and Carly Simon were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, while Judas Priest was honored with a special Musical Excellence award, performing a special set with former members K.K. Downing and Les Binks.

Here is the description for the nominees: “To be eligible for nomination, an individual artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination. Eight out of 14 of the Nominees are on the ballot for the first time, including Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, Joy Division/New Order, Cyndi Lauper, George Michael, Willie Nelson, The White Stripes, and Warren Zevon. This is the first year of eligibility for Missy Elliott and The White Stripes.”

However, The Rock Hall has elected over 1,000 musicians, historians, and representatives of the music industry as votes for the 2023 class.
