After serving the regarded thrash metal band Slayer for nearly 4 decades, Kerry King and his wife recently bought a condo for $3,650,000 in a neighborhood in Lower Manhattan in New York City.

Many of us know that the couple has moved from Las Vegas to the Big Apple last year as Kerry King’s wife Ayesha King broke the news through an Instagram post last November.

“I suppose it’s time to tell you all that the King and I have moved to NYC (back home for me, excited to be near my family again),” she wrote on Instagram. “I figured I’d beat some acquaintance’s friend buddy who it heard it from a guy to announce it and think he’s cool. I served my time on the west coast for 18 years. Time to be back in the best city on earth.”

After their move, also Kerry King‘s bandmate from Slayer, Gary Holt congratulated the couple bearishly on their new residence, writing in the comments section: ” No fucking way!!! Congrats on the return home!” In addition, also Testament guitarist Alex Skolnick wrote, “Heck yes. C u guys around!”

On the other side, it was also revealed that Kerry King and Ayesha King had purchased their home in Enterprise, a section of the Las Vegas Valley, for $3.81 million as it has now been gone on sale for $4.8 million.

“So, I hear congratulations are in order for my friends in Machine Head. Apparently, it’s 30 years, which is quite an achievement. Not a lot of bands get there. We did, and then we quit too early. Fuck us. Fuck me. I hate fucking not playing.”

However, Kerry King and his Slayer bandmate Paul Bostaph revealed soon enough that they were involved in a new project together, as well. So, they spent most of the remaining year working on recording their music properly after the ongoing pandemic has settled.

After founding Slayer, Kerry King remained his career for almost 4-decades as the thrash metal band’s lead guitarist and songwriter. Although Dave Mustaine had invited him to join beside him in Megadeth, King refused his offer, agreeing to partake in gigs with them only.
