While Slipknot is back at business with concerts and a tour, band members are also working on their solo careers. This time we have news about M. Shawn Crahan also known as Clown. Clown was working on his solo career besides his Slipknot career for a while. Today, he released two songs called “Brainwash Love – Death Inside” and “Live Your Life”. These two songs are a bit different from his works with Slipknot in both visual and musical ways.
M. Shawn Crahan, widely known as Clown, is one of the most versatile musicians in the metal music industry. He is the percussionist, artistic visionary, production designer, and of course, the co-founder. But this is only his Slipknot side. On the other side, he is also working under other names. Some of them are Dirty Little Rabbits, To My Surprise, The Black Dots Of Death. He is not only a musician but an artist in also other ways. He is a painter and a photographer with successful exhibitions. He is a director and a videographer, worked for Slipknot, Motionless In White, and Hollywood Undead. These are only a few examples to explain how versatile he is.
Recently he was working with Slipknot on their follow-up to 2019’s “We Are Not Your Kind“. As we’ve recently shared information on that album, Slipknot is expecting to finish their follow-up by the end of July. In the same statements about their upcoming work, band members used very assertive words such as “a bunch of really cool stuff”.
And while working on Slipknot projects and preparing for upcoming events, Clown dropped two new songs from his solo work.
