Green Day Announce The Saviours Tour Dates For 2024
Notorious American rock band Green Day is kicking off their tour in North America. Their five-month “The Saviors” stadium tour begins on July 29, 2024. The band announced the itinerary at the beginning of November. The North American leg of the tour will include concerts at New York’s Citi Field, Boston’s Fenway Park, Chicago’s Wrigley Field, Pittsburgh’s PNC Park, Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, and a final scheduled concert at Petco Park in San Diego on September 28. Interesting to note, the U.S. and Canadian concerts will feature support from Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and Linda Lindas. At the same time, European fans will enjoy hearing Nothing But Thieves, The Hives, Donots, The Interrupters, and Maid of Ace.
Anniversary Of “Dookie” and “American Idiot”
The band will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their 1994 diamond-certified album “Dookie” and the 20th anniversary of 2004’s “American Idiot“. It will hold a festival show at the O Son do Camino in Monte de Gozo, Spain, on May 30. Gigs will follow throughout Europe in Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, the Netherlands, and the UK. It will end June 29 with a show at London’s Wembley Stadium.
