Metallica Launches Podcast ‘The Metallica Report’: Listen
Metallica just shared great news for their fans and introduced their new podcast program, ‘The Metallica Report,’ which is already launching today.
Everything You Need to Know About Metallica’s Podcast Program ‘The Metallica Report’
A new podcast that delivers weekly insider news on all things Metallica band. “The Metallica Report” will be hosted by two members of the Metallica family: Steffan Chirazi, whose history with the band spans from covering the band as a journalist in the ’80s to his current role as editor of the band’s online mag, So What!, and Renée Richardson, director of philanthropy for the band’s All Within My Hands foundation and well-known Bay Area radio personality.
Each edition of “The Metallica Report” will include Steffan and Renée keeping listeners up to speed on the latest news and developments from Metallica HQ. Also, reports from the road as the “M72” album tour continues Metallica‘s worldwide 2023/2024 tour.
Does Metallica have a podcast program?
Yes, Metallica has a podcast program that is returning with the new one. “The Metallica Report” is produced and published by Pantheon Media, and it reunites the Metallica team with co-producers PopCult, with whom they previously collaborated on “The Metallica Podcast: Volume 1” in 2021.
This mini-features on “The Metallica Report” will include unique behind-the-scenes information. The podcast consists of interviews with the touring crew, poster and t-shirt creators, fans, and even band members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo.
Metallica also shared a press statement from their website:
“We are [Metallica] excited to introduce The Metallica Report, launching today with our very first episode! Our new podcast will be a quick, weekly hit, including news, updates, exclusive features, and surprises from HQ and beyond.
The pod will be hosted by two of the closest members of our extended family – some of you may even know them already! Leading the conversation will be Steffan Chirazi, who began covering us as a journalist in the ’80s and is now at the helm of our online mag, So What!, and Renée Richardson, Director of Philanthropy for All Within My Hands and well-known Bay Area radio personality.
With each episode, Steffan and Renée will keep you informed with the latest news from Metallica HQ and dispatches from the road as the M72 Tour continues to make its way around the world. You’ll also enjoy exclusive, behind-the-scenes updates and interviews with the likes of the touring crew, poster and t-shirt artists, and fans through our mini-features. And we plan to make a few appearances ourselves!
In addition to the most inside and up-to-date news, The Metallica Report will take requests: submit your inquiries, and Steffan and Renée will get to the bottom of your burning questions every Wednesday. Chirazi, the editor of Metallica‘s fan magazine, So What!, has been writing about METALLICA and working with them since 1984. He has also written for several newspapers worldwide, interviewed hundreds of celebrities ranging from David Bowie to Kurt Cobain, and provided a continuous history of Lars, James, Kirk, Rob, and Metallica from the days of “Ride The Lightning.”
