Slipknot share the Knotverse, NFTs and Metaverse Concert Shows
Slipknot just announced the Knotverse, NFTs, and metaverse concert shows coming in 2022. These NFTs and metaverse were also created with The Sandbox which is already known by the community.
What’s Slipknot metaverse and NFTs world?
American metal band announced that the website for their fans online will host metaverse concerts and exclusive NFTs. It will also include games and fan experiences collaborations, as well as other events. Their fresh look Web3 style website to all things Knot will ensure that there will be plenty of things for Maggots to experience including unique NFTs, metaverse events, gaming experiences fan experiences, exclusive collaborations, wearables, and more.
For this project Slipknot working with The Sandbox, a leading virtual gaming site and part of the Hong Kong-based gaming software company Animoca Brands, the Knotverse: “One-of-a-kind gathering place for the heavy music scene across the universe.”
Knotverse is also described by Shawn “Clown” Crahan:
“When I started playing Quake online in 1999 and Minecraft in 2011, it was another level. But at the time, I couldn’t have Sid scratching next to me, I couldn’t offer visual art to fans. All we could do together was play the game. But little ideas like that are not only possible now, they barely scratch the surface. We are listening, we are watching, and we are going where our fans are leading us. And if you don’t understand or you’re worried, know that we’re going to help bring our fans along. We are getting in this for all of us, with all of us, and we can’t wait for you to see what we have coming up.”

KNOTVERSE is thematically connected to Slipknot’s self-curated branding and media website, knotfest.com, an immersive dark carnival experience that takes place across the globe. The KNOTVERSE will be held within The Sandbox will carry on the theme of dark carnival and will incorporate the more than twenty years’ worth of Slipknot themes and images, authentically recreated in voxel format.
