Elon Musk Tribute Metal Band Supports His Futuristic Ideas

The richest person in the world, Elon Musk seemed to conquer the music world, too, besides his long-time efforts for conquering space, before a few years of today. A tribute heavy metal band was formed for the name of Elon Musk and to support his ideas and works. But who are they and where they could make it, as of 2021? Let’s see.

One of the most powerful names in the world, somehow, Elon Musk already showed his interest in heavy metal when he first revealed he has been wanting to go the Eurovision Song Contest since he had seen a Finnish heavy metal band’s performance in it. As it has already become so usual that Musk holding so much power in his hands, being even able to affect so many things with just emoji tweets he shared. But what about the tribute heavy metal band that was formed to support his works and ideas?

We have been watching Elon Musk as the whole world for a very long time, seeing his attempts to the various types of industries, whether we like him or not. It’s undeniable that this man knows how to make everyone speak of himself with every step he takes. And one of the proofs of that, some musicians among the ones who love him, formed a tribute band for the name of Elon Musk, named Raptor Command, which we will be discussing shortly after where it could manage to lead its career, and all.

An entrepreneur and business magnate, Elon Musk has been working as the founder, CEO, and Chief Engineer of SpaceX for a long time, among his other works. As he has become one of the most talked-about people worldwide, especially for his futuristic ideas and works. So, while he has been gathering so much attention, it’s not arguable that his personal life also pulls the attention of everyone, whether they like him or not. And with one of his tweets, he made it pretty clear that he is actually into heavy metal music when he shared a metal music band of Finland, which also won the Eurovision Song Contest, back in 2006.

And as the famous engineer, Elon Musk has been working on his futuristic projects, a handful of musicians showed the courage to take Musk’s idealistic plans into metal music form, supporting his ideas and plans with their music.

Formed in 2016, Raptor Command described its self as a “heavy metal tribute to Elon Musk,” debuting with a single, titled Elon: Champion for Humanity. The band’s main goal is to raise awareness of and promote Elon Musk’s futurist ideas and visions for the future of humanity, by using the power of heavy metal music and subculture. Consisting of Jericho Law on the bass, Sean Elg on drums, Deakon Lekross on the guitar, Max Carlisle on the guitar and keyboard, and Ty Christian on vocals, Raptor Command’s members share a mutual passion for technological developments, as Elon Musk has been trying to push mankind into the idealistic future with no stop, according to them.

After debuting with a single, Raptor Command released its first debut album, Elon via Kickstarter, as well. The songs of the tribute band of Elon Musk mostly mention the idea of Musk flying a Falcon 9 rocket to Mars, along with the real desire of Musk to see humanity become a multi-planetary species.

The lead vocalist of the tribute heavy metal band for Elon Musk also explained their first single in the past, saying,

“Much like the Tesla batteries, this music continuously builds energy as if it were magically pulled from the ether. Faster than a Model S, and more explosive than a SpaceX rocket – this metal is truly something that will launch us into the future!”

And also the keyboardist of Raptor Command talked about their band and said,

“I think of the band as a philanthropic endeavor. All of Elon’s ideas… sustainable sugar test energy, space exploration, improving transport… the world will be better off if more and more people embrace and support these ideas. We want to help achieve that through the power of metal.”

Raptor Command is also known for its power metal style, which was influenced by the bands such as Gamma Ray, Hammerfall, Iron Savior, Stratovarius, Gloryhammer and Blind Guardian. As the tribute metal band contains blistering guitar solos along with mind bending keyboard sequences. It can also be said that their stratospheric vocals and drums give a different kind of taste, showing off the progressive and disruptive technological and mental strides of Elon Musk, somehow.

On the other side, even though the band is still active, it only released one album so far, throughout its career. But still, it may be good to know that somehow, going to Mars is not just in our dreams now, but also is in some songs, along with some of our dreams.
