Jimmy Page is one of the most famous figures in the rock and roll music industry. He first picked up a guitar when he was a little lad, and has not put it down since. Led Zeppelin‘s famous guitarist Jimmy Page‘s net worth is proportional to his amazing career and long list of achievements.
Jimmy Page’s Net Worth
Jimmy Page was actually born James Patrick Page in Heston, London. He soon moved with his family to Epsom, Surrey, where he found an abandoned guitar in their new house. Elvis Presley was popular then, and his celebrity inspired Page to take up guitar as well.
After teaching himself the guitar, with just a little help from manuals and a school friend, he started a band with teenagers much older than him in high school. At just the age of 13, he even appeared with his band on BBC’s, All Your Own program, which shows the talents of the younger generation. After leaving school, Jimmy played music professionally as a revered session musician.

Jimmy Page’s Career
When Jimmy was fresh out of school, he had the opportunity to join the band The Yardbirds. He refused several times due to one reason or the other but ended up joining them after seeing them perform live in one of their concerts. However, he knew that this wasn’t his final plan, as he had loftier ambitions.
After several group members decided to go their separate ways, Jimmy recruited a few new members and created the band Led Zeppelin. This band is now one of the highest-selling music groups of all time. Once this band dismembered, Jimmy Page decided to create a solo album and a couple of albums with his ex-bandmate Robert Plant.
How did the name, Led Zeppelin, come about?
In an interview with Ultimate Guitar, Page was asked how they came up with the name Led Zeppelin. Page recounted, “It was a name that Keith Moon had mentioned back then. He was talking, ‘Wouldn’t it be fun to have a band called Led Zeppelin?’ And I asked him if we could use the name because I was gonna be in this band Led Zeppelin with Keith Moon, so was Jeff Beck.”
He continued, “So when we were playing in Scandinavia we were out there as New Yardbirds, it was a cloak of invisibility really. And even on the first recordings, it said ‘New Yardbirds’ on the box because I didn’t want anybody to know what the name of the band was until we really officially unveiled it. And [the first album] was it.”
Jimmy Page’s Prizes
Jimmy Page has earned himself quite a few achievements throughout his musical career. For starters, he has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Twice. The first time was in 1992 as a member of The Yardbirds, and the second was in 1995 as part of Led Zeppelin.
Moreover, Page was also named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2005. What’s probably the most special achievement for Jimmy Page was how with Led Zeppelin, he received the Kennedy Center Honors from President Barack Obama himself in a ceremony at the White House. As someone who has been making music for half a century, Jimmy deserves it all.
Jimmy Page’s Relationships
While tracking Jimmy’s relationships may be relatively easy, it is even harder to do so for his flings and hookups. Jimmy has dated and married several women in his lifetime. However, he has been in a relationship with Scarlett Sabet since 2014. The two have yet to get married.
Page has been in relationships with Aveyanda Skye (2013 – 2015), Krissy Wood (1974), Lori Mattox (1972 – 1974), Catherine James (1968 – 1969), Heather Daltrey (1967), Jackie DeShannon (1964 – 1965), and more. Jimmy Page was also previously married to Jimena Gomez (1995 – 2006), Patricia Ecker (1986 – 1995), and Charlotte Martin (1970 – 1983).
Jimmy Page’s Net Worth: $180 Million
As of right now, Jimmy Page has a net worth of $180 million. Although he isn’t the wealthiest member of Led Zeppelin, he takes the cake for being the most popular, and as the founder of Led Zeppelin, is largely responsible for the band’s enduring success.
Even though Jimmy Page was previously in the superband The Yardbirds, he only gained popularity and increased his net worth after forming Led Zeppelin and taking on the role of the lead guitarist. Jimmy Page was the driving force behind each of their albums and quickly gained notoriety as the heavy metal god of guitar.
Jimmy Page finds success post Led Zeppelin but admits he drifted a bit
Aside from his time with the band, Jimmy Page also worked on a solo album called Outrider. He also released two albums with his former bandmate Robert Plant via The Honey Drippers and Page + Plant. But he also teamed up with Paul Rodgers from Free to form The Firm, among other projects.
Regarding his post Zep project with Paul RodgersPage told Uncut, “I don’t have any regrets about doing that at all. Paul Rodgers is one of the best singers this country has ever produced, and any musician would want him on a record. But if you’re asking me if I’d drifted a bit after the end of Led Zeppelin, then I’m not going to argue with that. I don’t want to labor the point, but it was the perfect vehicle for me to express everything I wanted to express and it had gone before its time. You’d be asking a lot to expect lightning to strike twice in the same place like that with a whole different bunch of musicians.”
The Total Net Worth of Led Zeppelin Band Members
Although Jimmy Page is worth $180 million, he isn’t the richest member of Led Zeppelin. That title goes to his bandmate, Robert Plant. Robert performed in all of the Led Zeppelin albums and even produced some one-on-one albums with just Jimmy Page himself. Robert Plant has a huge collection of luxury cars and guitars. As of today, he is worth $220 million.
John Paul was the bassist of Led Zeppelin and was also worked on all of their albums. Besides working with Led Zeppelin, John also produced music with several artists during his career, like Heart, Foo Fighters, Ben E. King, Jars Of Clay, and many more. Paul also went on to release a couple of solo albums, including his latest one called The Thunderthief in 2001. This made him a more versatile musical figure. As of today, John Paul is worth $90 million.
Unfortunately, John Bonham was not as popular as the rest of his bandmates. This was mainly because he died very early on in 1980. Before his death, he performed for all of Led Zeppelin’s albums. Aside from working with the band, he also worked with other popular figures such as Jimmy Stevens, Wings, and more. It is clear that his death had a tragic toll on his band. There were even songs written in his honor. As of his death, John Bonham was worth $10 million.
